MAGGIE POUND has been a licensed California Real Estate Broker for 45 years and has lived in San Diego for 35 years. A native of California and a graduate of UCLA, she kicked off her career as a Social Worker for Los Angeles County before becoming the Human Resources Director at LAC-USC Medical Center.
After moving to San Diego in 1981, she held the position of HR Director and Administrator for the Pediatrics Department at Kaiser, managing seven clinics. Following her tenure at Sharp Rees-Stealy as HR Director, Maggie served as a representative for an elected councilmember, where she facilitated numerous community improvements, including the planning and funding of the City Heights transformation in 1994 and the establishment of the first citizens' patrol.
At Sharp Business Brokers, Maggie utilizes her business acumen as an intermediary in business sales and acquisitions, providing her clients with valuable real-life experience and a knack for addressing management challenges as a business strategist. With a diverse background in human resources, management, coaching, sales, business brokering, and marketing, Maggie is particularly known for her insightful listening, creativity, and ability to foster meaningful connections with others.
